All I want for Christmas…
Shopping for that (annoying) minimalist in your life that eschews the societal norms of hoarding worthless crap and reciprocal consumerism.

Light thinks it travels faster than anything but it is wrong. No matter how fast light travels, it finds the darkness has always got there first, and is waiting for it
jim-
atHey that what I was getting you for Christmas! 📦
Jo
atI was hoping for some naked pictures… but I’ll also settle for nothing.
jim-
atThe only naked pics I have are 70’s porn style of me and my brothers laying naked on a bear skin rug. Not truly naked with the codpiece, but hey, have to leave something to imagine
tara caribou
atFor the record, I would DEFINITELY like some naked pictures… but yeah, I get this. I’m a minimalist. And the few people who ask what they can get for me and I heartily and honestly say ‘nothing, I don’t need anything’…. ugh, they don’t get it… and buy something for me… I feel very misunderstood. So…. nudes: yes. Material goods: no.
jim-
atFunny how nude evolved into P and D pics, but I guess in today’s age of little time, we get right to it. I prefer some well done black and whites in perfect lighting.
Jo
atYou guys… bringing my comments section down a notch with your… eh… amorality. Immorality… which one is the bad one again?
jim-
atWell Jo, when you think it’s everyone else, usually it’s you that’s the problem
Jo
atI am a paragon of chastity and virtue… and… did I say chastity already? My mission is to save the heathens of the world from the eternal fire and damnation and eh… stuff. That’s why we are friends.
jim-
atI think you misspelled paragon/ you meant paradox of chastity and virtue?
Jo
atLol. Typo.

atI agree that bodies are beautiful in their imperfection and done artistically it is a lovely thing. Personally I prefer the artistic style more than just a d or p. But I like curves and shadows and fluidity and all that evokes. Then add to that some people have their own kinks involving either voyeurism or exhibitionism and for them I think a lot of the time it’s less about WHAT is being shown/seen and more about the act itself. Either way, as a partial-nudist, bodies don’t bother me.

tara caribou
atExactly!
Michelle Louring
atOne of the webshops where I did my Christmas shopping actually sold “Nothing”. I almost bought it for my mom.
https://www.coolstuff.dk/Ingenting/14106
Jo
atHa ha. Nothing is currently sold out. 69Kr… seems steep though. Whats that in real money? Like 7 euro?
Michelle Louring
atAbout 9, I think.
I also thought it was a bit much for nothing, but that’s demand for you!
Jo
atAgreed. Supply and demand. The greatest force in the universe. Eh… after gravity… and nuclear force… and electromagnetism… 😀
Jo
atOh… and celestial pachyderms. (I can speak nerd to you.. because you ‘get’ it)
Over Soil
atI was so with you until the last one and then I was literally laughing, for I am the one to say and mean it “I don’t do Christmas” and the ending image is priceless.
Over Soil
atp.s. You made me have to look up the word “eschews” and now I know. “Fanks fer d’educashun pal”.
Jo
atYou’re welcome. I will pencil it in as my ‘good’ deed for the day. Makes up for parking in the handicap parking earlier…
(just kidding) I almost never do that…
Over Soil
atIn the handicap parking “Naughty” <~ said in the voice of The Mad Hatter as played by Jonny Depp https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1mAb2wXsRM
Jo
atWhy is a Raven like a writing desk…
Over Soil
at“Sorry, but I raven a clue”
Jo
atI thought it was brilliant. Glad you liked it.
